Not much in the way of pictures today. Got a few more blury ones that we didn't post. But otherwise, this is it.

Today Gretchen "kangaroo'd" with Michael for quite a while. "Kangaroo Care" is the new fangled term for skin-to-skin contact. I.e., just sitting and snuggling with you child. Why they needed some "term" for what should be a basic concept is beyond me.

She did have an exciting time when Michael spit up on her while getting his feeding through the feeding tube. Shortly after getting everyone all cleaned up he was pooping up a storm. At least he had his diaper on, Gretchen didn't get that one on her. Ruth, the nurse, said that it is fairly common for a baby to spit up while working on a poop.

I believe I forgot to mention that several days ago Michael has his head ultrasound to check for "intraventricular hemorrhages" (IVH). They are very analogus to mini strokes, and are common in premies. Generally they cause no long term problems and resolve on their own. But Micahel doesn't need to worry about that because he checked out all clear. No sign of any IVHs at all, small or otherwise.

That's about it for now.

Oh yeah, Michael took about 15ml from a bottle today. A pretty big jump from the 5ml he had been taking. I think Ruth has a magic touch.
