It was yet another day of gradual steps forward. He is doing very well with the weight gain. He put on another few ounces and is now close to 6lbs, 4 ozs. He has taken a number of feedings buy mouth, or at least the majority of a feeding.
When we went in for his 6:00p feeding we decided to give him another shot at breastfeeding. He, again, latched on very well. It looked like he was sucking good, but he wasn't getting anything. Guess he needs to work on his technique. He did wind up getting a small amount after working at it for a good half hour. We then gave him his bottle and he took almost all of it in just about 15 minutes. So it would seem that he is building up his stamina.
Otherwise, not much to report. Just growing and feeding, as they say.
