Mr. Piggy Michael is now just a hair shy of 7 pounds. He is packing on the weight like he was a couch potatoe. He has been having a bottle more regularly now. Not finishing it, but he does have at least half of the 55ml when he is given the opportunity. Tonight at 9:00p he did finish off 50ml of the 55ml bottle, which is the best he has done in a while. SLowly but surely he is getting this down.
The NICU is now all full up. at last count they have 26 babies for the 24 rooms. They do have room for a few NICU patients up behind the normal nursery on the 3rd floor, and there are at least two sets of twins sharing rooms. Due to the high patient count they have closed visitation to all but parents and grandparents during the day. The sign wasn't there when we went back at 9:00p, so they might relax the restriction late at night.
