Jiggity Jig! Ok, so we didn't go to market to by a fat pig, but Michael did fatten up enough to come home today! Hooray! After 5 weeks and 2 days Michael is asleep in the co-sleeper (Google it) next to our bed. He was fussy for a bit when getting put in his car seat, but once in and sucking on his pacifier he settled down a bit. Then when he got home he fussed again for about an hour. He finally fell asleep in my arms, and I almost did, too.

Once he was asleep we were able to put him down for about an hour while we ate dinner. Then he was up and ready for his next meal. He sucked down about 70ml (a little over two ozs) pretty quick, and then went back to sleep. Where he is right this minute.

Wow! Now we are trying to figure out how to prepare for tonight's adventure in pumping and feeding. We have three bottles ready, along with a nifty bottle cooler / warmer we got at Babies R Us. It has a cooler with an ice pack to keep botles chilled for up to eight hours, and a steamer area to warm them up in less than 5 minutes. Guess we'll see how well it works tonight.

Well, probably should go and see about getting a little rest before needing to get up and start the cycle all over again.
